Custom Cable assembly

Built to your drawing, from cable sets to complex harnesses

Cable assemblies sit at the core of almost every electronic system and product. The specification, sourcing and production process behind them often is more complex than the end product suggests and a production error is rarely contained to the assembly itself. We manage the full process for various cable assemblies.

From engineering review to series production

Cable assemblies can involve multiple components, suppliers, and production steps. We coordinate the full process based on your requirements and needs.

Engineering review

Most production issues trace back to the drawing. We review yours and check for things like crimp termination class, connector compatibility, strain relief spec, and BOM completeness.

Component sourcing

We source cable, connectors, and ancillary components across our approved supplier base. For each component we check availability, lead time, and single-source dependency before confirming your delivery date.

Production management

Production runs to IPC/WHMA-A-620 in certified facilities. Your dedicated contact manages the order throughout, so no handoffs between sales, engineering, and production.

Testing & delivery

Testing scope is agreed before production starts. Electrical continuity is standard on every harness. Crimp pull testing, high-pot, and functional testing are added based on your application and IPC class.

1
Technical review & drawing review
Share your drawing, BOM, and requirements. We review for completeness and flag anything unclear.
2
Engineering & feasibility
We assess manufacturability (DFM), check component availability, and propose alternatives where relevant.
3
Planning & Quotation
Clear pricing based on your volumes. Lead times agreed upfront. We notify you if anything changes.
4
Sample validation
A sample is produced and submitted for your approval before series production.
5
Series production & delivery
Continuous quality monitoring to IPC/WHMA-A-620. Packaged and delivered to your specification.

Controlled, traceable and verified built

Production is carried out in line with recognised industry standards, including IPC/WHMA-A-620 for cable and wire harness assembly. Ask for scope documentation if needed.

IPC/WHMA-A-620
Governs acceptance criteria for wires, splices, terminals, connectors and protective coverings. Three acceptance classes. Specify your required class in the drawing.

IPC/WHMA-A-620
ISO 9001

ISO 9001
Process-based QMS covering planning, production control, corrective action and continuous improvement. Applicable across all production activities.

ISO 13485

ISO 13485
Relevant if your product is a medical device or sub-assembly. Adds traceability, risk management and stricter process controls.

Testing & Documentation

Every assembly is produced to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Depending on your specifications, you might require additional testing. We can advise you on what is appropriate. You will receive full documentation with every shipment.

Engineering review

End-to-end circuit verification. This cathes opens, shorts and mid-wires before

Component sourcing

Spec-based tests confirm real-world performance and use in your application.

Production management

Mechanical integrity checks based on your crimp specifications.

Testing & delivery

Test reports and tracability docs can be included as requested.

We typically respobd within one working day. For urgent requests, call us directly at +31 (0)85 273 73 31

We work with certified production facilities across Europe, which gives us flexibility in capacity and skills that a single factory can't offer. We manage the full process and are accountable for quality and delivery throughout. Testing options include electrical testing (continuity and insulation resistance), functional testing to your specification, and pull testing for crimp and overmould validation.

Delivery time depends on the complexity of the product, availability of components and order size. A sample run can be processed quickly, while series production may take a few weeks. We always work closely to provide clear lead times and meet your expectations as best as possible. We have 98% on-time delivery based on the communicated delivery time.

Technical drawings and a bill of materials (BOM). Assembly or test instructions if available. We offer an NDA before you share anything. If you need any help getting your files complete we are happy to help.

Medical devices, agricultural equipment, industrial automation, and general electronics. We're familiar with the documentation, are ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certificied and offer traceability requirements in each sector.

Yes. We recommend sample validation for all new assemblies. Samples are approved against your drawing before a full run is committed.

Testing depends on your application. We advise what's appropriate and include it in the quote if needed.
