Hemmink introduces the Enduri Power Relay. This smart relay can automatically activate free-swing closers and smoke dampers upon smoke detection or if the smoke detector is removed.

Concept design

Together with Hemmink, we developed the Enduri Power Relay to meet the latest fire safety requirements of the 'Living Environment Buildings Decree' and NEN 2555:2023. This fail-safe relay can automatically activates door closers and smoke dampers when smoke is detected or when the smoke detector is removed. This keeps residents and visitors safer and limits smoke development.

Turn-key development and contract manufacturing

Zign Group was contracted for the complete development cycle, from concept to production. The product is certificied according to the requirements of RED, such as IEC 62368-1:2018 for safety and EN 301 489-1 V2.2.3 for EMC.
As contract manufacturer, Zign Group delivers the final product, in batches, packed and ready to ship, to Hemmink's warehouse in Zwolle, The Netherlands.

Product highlights

The product was developed for long life and constant 24/7 use. Connected to 230VAC, it provides various options for connecting external equipment, such as KNX, home automation, adhesive magnets and solutions for the deaf and limited hearing. The product will also continue to work for several weeks in the event of a power outage.
